The CyberQ Group Global Expansion Tour
5 Weeks, 3 Continents, 1 Mission, Securing Global Growth.
In March 2026, our Founder and CEO, Chris Woods embarked on a world tour to strengthen our work in cyber resilience amongst a global cyber landscape.
“What an extraordinary journey. I have just spent nearly five weeks away from the UK on the CyberQ Group Global Expansion Tour, taking our award-winning West Midlands innovation to the world’s most dynamic technology corridors.”
Chris Woods,
CEO and Founder, CyberQ Group
Leg 1: The India Strategic Mission
Our first stop was India, where I had the privilege of joining West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker on a high-level trade mission across# Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. This wasn’t just about business development; it was about positioning CyberQ Group at the heart of India’s rapid technological evolution. By engaging with government stakeholders, enterprise leaders, and academic partners, we’ve laid the groundwork for CyberQ Group India to be seen as a long-term strategic steward rather than just a service provider. We are building the ‘Living Bridge’ between Birmingham and India’s digital frontier.
Leg 2: The Manila Heartbeat
From India, I travelled to the Philippines to visit our Manila hub. Hosting our Town Hall was a personal highlight; seeing the energy, talent, and commitment of our staff first hand reinforces our ‘people-first’ culture. Over those two weeks, we focused on leadership development and team integration, crucial pillars for our ‘Follow-the-Sun‘ model. The visit was also a commercial triumph, resulting in several significant client wins that have materially expanded our Asian capability and infrastructure.
Leg 3: The South Africa Immersion
We concluded the tour in Johannesburg and Cape Town as part of the Immersion South Africa trade mission. This government-backed programme, supported by the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT), provided an elite platform to strengthen our African footprint. We successfully built out our regional capability, solidified existing client relationships, and opened new communication channels with key financial and energy sector leaders.
The Conclusion: A Global Vision with UK Roots
Flying the flag for UK innovation across these three nations has been a landmark success for CyberQ Group. While we remain fiercely proud of our Birmingham heritage and our new headquarters at Millennium Point, our global team and international clients are fundamental to our future. In an ever-shifting cyber landscape, we are more committed than ever to protecting our clients through technical integrity and strategic mastery.
“Cybersecurity is at a turning point. This mission was about raising the bar for resilience across three key regions and building the long-term partnerships that will define our global success”
