Born in Wakayama Prefecture, Chiaki graduated from Kinki University Faculty of Science and Engineering, Department of Reactor Engineering.
In 1991, he was involved in system development projects for general construction, manufacturing, central ministries, etc. at a user-based IT company.
In 2001, he established a contract development department and an offshore development base as a director and technical manager at a venture company and was involved in the acquisition of product business in the United States in terms of technology.
In 2002, he participated in the Software Production Control Committee of the Japan Science and Technology Federation, contributed to quality improvement activities for IT service development, and was in charge of many courses for the quality control department of major IT companies.
2011 He opened sole proprietorship as Freelance.
In 2012, he joined the NPO BCAO (Business Continuity Promotion Organization) and obtained a business continuity manager qualification, and conducts BCP (Business Continuity Plan) dissemination and enlightenment activities centred on IT.
In 2015, he became the vice president of NPO JASIPA (Japan Information Service Innovation Partners Association) and is engaged in business alliances with IT organizations in various countries such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. His specialties include “offshore development support,” “development project management support,” “development process improvement,” “system planning and requirements development support,” and “overseas business support.”
